Event security
Officers for galas, launches, conferences and private parties.
View detailsIn San Francisco, the line forms outside, rideshares stack up at the curb and everyone leaves at once. Plan for the sidewalk the same way you plan for the room, with officers on the door and the queue as well as inside.
Guest count, number of doors, the layout and whether there’s a bar all drive the number. A dinner in one room needs far fewer officers than a launch party spread over two floors with a line down the block.
We’ll suggest a number once we’ve seen the plan, and can add people for doors-open and close.
Decide early how guests are identified, whether by list, badge or wristband, and make sure every officer has the same instructions. Pick one person on your side to make the call on exceptions.
Backstage, green rooms and load-in doors need their own rules.
Most city venues have their own staff and house rules. We’ll coordinate on access and timing so everyone knows who’s handling what.
For conferences and festivals running more than a day, an overnight officer can stay with the equipment and staging between days, which is when things tend to walk off.
